    importing data

I hope someone can help with this because I am lost.
My PC at work has just been added to the network and now I need to use
some of the data there to add to my database. I can import the
information but I don't need all of it.
For example I want to add addresses to my tables but not all of them
just the ones relating to my clients. When I import the table it
contains some clients that are not in my database. I have tried to
create a relationship between the two tables but this is not working.
Is what I am doing possible or do I just need to put all this new
    information in manually?
    Many thanks for any help

    Re: importing data

    Hi there
I think create a query with your necessary field at server side-> then Link
that query by File->Get external data and select that query. Then crate
relationship with your table. remeber to refresh your query all the time you
    invoked.
