I have network that consists of 3 computers , two of them have ubuntu10.4 as os and the other one make use window7 as os. I put them inside a network by setting Ip address , net mask and the other setting , they are now in the network . but my problem is that this connection is very very slow and most of the time when i want to connect to the other computer it interupted and show me a message that say my connection has timed...

I have an application developed in VB.net with 3.5 framework. I have disabled close (X) button on the main form of the application while doing some processing. I have achieve disabling by "Overriding ReadOnly Property CreateParams()" of the form. I need to determine the location (RECT) of application windows (aka "buttons") in the system taskbar.
In Windows XP, this was possible by simply obtaining the handle to the "ToolbarWindow3 2" window that represents the taskbar and then using SendMessage to enumerate the taskbar buttons and obtain their RECTs using toolbar "TB_..." window messages. (i.e. TB_GETBUTTON, TB_GETRECT).

Hi, Im using VS2005 vb.net .
If I set the application icon to a known good icon , with all reasonable embedded sizes (16x16, 32x32, 64x64. 128x128, 256x256) then its not showing correctly in win 7.

Although the .exe icon is correct in explorer, the default application icon shows in the preview pane at the bottom of win7's explorer, and if I create a shortcut on the desktop by right clicking the exe, I also get a shortcut with...
