I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on which is better from a
performance perspective: a nested Select statement or an Inner Join.


For example, I could do either of the following:

SELECT supplier_name
FROM supplier
WHERE supplier_ID IN (SELECT supplier_ID FROM products WHERE
product_ID =22);

VS.

SELECT supplier.suppli er_name
FROM...
