How to overcome a deadlock in Admin privilege

I created a MS access database.
I had then created a Workgroup Information File using Tools->Security->Workgroup Administrator.
I created a password for my used id('kanagab' which is same as my windows logon id) and was using the db.

The user id 'kanagab' was a member of 'Admins' Group and 'Users' group

    Ranking Query Is Too Large

I've got a ranking query that ranks the performance of teams in challenges.

The hierarchy of data is as follows:
    teams have members
    members have activities
    activities have activitytypes
    challenges have activitytypes

If I want to rank the performance all teams in a single challenge, this query works great:

    Code:
    SELECT t.teamID, t.teamName,
    		scoring.challengeID,
    		outerchallenge.name
    ...

Latest Date in a group function

I have a table that looks like this:
    CustomerID ProductOrdered OrderDate OrderQuantity
    0001 ProdA 1/1/2007 3
    0001 ProdA 1/1/2008 2
    0002 ProdB 1/1/2006 1

I'm only interested the LATEST order of each customer. I'm trying to use SELECT TOP, but somehow it doesn't work with Group function:
    Code:
    SELECT TOP 1 CustomerID,ProductOrdered,OrderQuantity,

sql query groups and min value

    Hi,

got a problem formulating sql query.

I got a table with datetime column and a double(float) column.

I set datetime interval, then the interval gets broken down to n equal timespans, then i select the minimum value row from interval.

end result is n rows with minimum double value, one each from each timespan..

    any ideas??

    with regards
    Fr.
