    Hello,

I have an excel spreadsheet where I have the data. The columns I am interested in are:
    Ref_no, Rule_detail, Location1, Location2, Location3.

In my access db, I have three tables with fields:

    Rule_detail

    2. tbl[Location]
    LocationID

  • How can I pull a specific part out of a serialized data?

I'm new to PHP and I've been trying to wrap my brain around this to no avail. Basically in this program I have groups and the group id is apparently stored as serialized data like this:

    Code:
    a:1:{i:0;s:2:"4";}
The only number i need is "4".

But I have no idea how to pull that out. IS this easier than it feels?

    Thank you!

There will be a treeview which has parent nodes named, 'Page1, Page2' & so on and the child nodes will be, 'Video, Images, Podcast' depending on what the user choose. And the user will be able to upload the whatever he or she selected for example 'video/images/podcast' to the page. I understand that there...

How to transfer more than 10TB of data quickly?

    Hi,
Please suggest ways to transfer huge amounts of data quickly form a client site to a processing center. I have a project that involves running several TBytes of data through a parallel processing system that I created. I was thinking about mailing the client several USB Portable HDD's but if someone has a better suggestion please let me know.

Also is there a way to combine several HDD's through a software/hardware interface...

  • Showing Forms in Access Basic Conditional on Field Entry

I would like to know how to write my Access prog so's when users are entering fields on an initial form they suddenly get presented with a different form depending upon what they enter in one of those fields.

So that, for instance, if they enter 'England' they get presented with a form asking questions about England and so on....

I'm very new at all this and ignorant of Access (you can see that?) and I wonder what...

Yet another VB form to Excel transfer question

I have this form built in VB 2010 that mirrors an Excel spreadsheet. I've been at this for a month and I can't get this to work. I need the user to run the program and fill out the form throughout the day. Then I need them to save it to a corresponding date in the workbook with the fields having their data populated and transferred from the form.

I can't for the life of me get this to work and I am running out of options.

  • General Question: C# / Visual Studio / SQL - Best Practice To Load/Use Data.

I am looking for input on the best method to interact with data in a C#/Visual Studio Windows Forms application using an SQL database.

I have limited experience working with data in this scenario. What I am looking for is your input on if I should use Visual Studio’s “drag and drop” data binding to work with data or code the SQL connection/data set. I have worked with small apps using both methods to fill list boxes, text boxes...

  • How to plot data [x,y,z] with z changing the color.

    Hi,

I'm trying to plot data using matplotlib. x is time y is another value and z ranges from 1 to 32. I want to use z to change the colour of the points specified by x and y.

I've tried colormaps and tried specifying the colour by using
    matplotlib.pypl ot.plot(X,Y,'.' ,color=Z/32)
    but I'm confused and stuck.

    Any ideas?

  • How do I Export Speech Recognition Data on Windows 7?

Export Speech Recognition Data on Windows 7

That question relates on the adaptation the engine has made (correction using voice which modify the original audio language model), the dictionnary (new words and their recorded adaptation).

The objective then is to have a format exported that can be archived as backup and as a restore source to be imported into another profile.
