    adp and exec stored procedure

    hi everybody, first of all sorry for my english

    i work with a adp file and msde

    this is my problem:

    in a form I have this command

    docmd.runsql "exec myProc"

    myproc is "insert into tabA (id1, id2) select (id1, id2) from tabB ......"

    tabA have 23000 record but after this command in tabA I find just 10000

    If I open manually myProc from database windows all is ok...in tabA I find
    23000

    What I wrong?

    Thanks
    Max

    Options->Advanced->Default Max Records ... 10000?

    Try

    CurrentProject. Connection.Exec ute "myProc"

        As a last resort I would use an independent connection eg
        Dim c As ADODB.Connectio n
        Set c = New ADODB.Connectio n
        With c
        ..Open _
        "PROVIDER=SQLOL EDB.1;" _
        & "INTEGRATED SECURITY=SSPI;" _
        & "INITIAL CATALOG=FFDBA_E SO_LOCAL;" _
        & "DATA SOURCE=FFDBA\SQ LEXPRESS"
        ..Execute "spShrinkDataba se"
        End With
