    kinda new to object methods and properties

    hey all,

    With regards to the Outlook Object Model

    _oItems = oInbox.Items
    _oItems.Sort("[ReceivedTime]", False)

    I was wondering about the Sort parms. It takes:
    Sort(Property As String, Descending As Object)

    My question is why wasn't Descending defined as a Boolean?

    thanks,
    rodchar

    Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the reason is that
    depending on what your sorting, descend might be true or false or could
    be something else.

    Here's a link to the sort method docs, perhaps that will help clear it
    up.

      But how is True or False considered an object?

        True or False is a boolean Data Type.

        All Data Types in .Net inherit from object.
