Hi. i am having the same problem with sending word documents via e.mail (even to myself) they are coming out as wordpads. and right clicking on them doesnt give an option to open them as word documents. I send many word documents via e.mail, When they are opened as word pad, they are unreadable. lots of illegible things on them, can anyone help. THANKS Computer novice.

Is the computer you are opening the email the same computer you are sending the email from? -
Hi. it is, and it has only done it during the last week.
It was brought to my attention by a friend who i had sent a word document to, so i tried sending myself the same document, and it did the same with me... totally puzzled... thanks
