lostandtaken(do t)com is a purchase free texture archive built from the ground up by an artist, he gives free use of all textures without watermarks for private and commercial use as long as when asked you mention or link back to his site when asked. I found this site while browsing images to create business cards.
At work this website works fine but here at home it slowly deteriorated. At first it was on pages 40-50+ then 10-20+ and finally nothing but the first image shows up.
As a web developer I was curious what was causing this problem and tried to diagnose it. Using the JavaScript Console I found the location of errors and what they were trying to retrieve. The website that is addressed in the error is unsigneddesign. com. When I try to view the page it simply errors and doesn't load. I've also pinged the sign and tracert'd it and both return nothing (tracert after 11 jumps). I tracked down the html img src and the url is correct. I've played around with different browsers and asked others to view the site. Others have no problem and a change in browser doesn't reach a solution. I've also cleaned out cookies and erased all browsing data. I'm beginning to think that it is virus related but it confuses me why that it only effects one site.
Anyone have ideas?
