After logging on to my Dell Optiplex 780, when i double click on the My Computer icon it takes forever to open. I have Kaspersky Antivirus Software and it is updated, I have scanned the system both in safe mode and normal and there is no detection. What is the problem?

You can try this:
Start -> Run -> msconfig
In the services tab, click on Hide all Microsoft services on the bottom left and disable everything else, except the Kaspersky services.
In the startup tab, disable everything else except the Kaspersky Antivirus option.
Save changes and restart the computer.
Also, is it just the My computer taking a long time to open or same is the case with My Documents and other MS folders.
