    Installing XP/getting rid of Vista

When I put in the Microsoft Windows XP Professional cd, a window appears that reads:
    E:\
There is not enough space on the disk.

    Then, nothing happens.

I tried to make space on the E:\ drive, but deleting is not an option that appears when I right click on anything in the E:\ drive. Please help!

I am assuming you backed up everything you wanted and you want to do a complete refresh of everything. I would suggest you do an fdisk. The problem is vista has a newer version of ntfs. So you might have to boot from a cd with fdisk and remove the nts partitions and create primary partition. This should allow your windows xp cd to boot. Please note this will wipe everything from you drove. If you trying to load xp with exisitng files on the drive then this is not the solution for you.
