How to recover Data on windows XP?

Hello.......... ...
I am using window Xp, tomorraow I was deleting unnecessary files on my portable hard drive of 0.5 Terabytes and accidentally deleted my very important files. The files deleted are of cdr. It's a whole folder of about 125MBs. I try to recover using some data recovery software but the files recovered are corrupted and I not opening in corel draw. How can I get them back.

You are using right solution that is data recovery software. I would suggest you to try another data recovery software that covers all your requirement in its features. Stellar Phoenix helped me to recover all my deleted files but in my case operating system was different i.e. Windows Vista. The software also recovers deleted files from windows XP. So you can try it too. But it is better to you to first try its demo version..

Easy recovery is the best software for data recovery & if you are able to recover but not able to open it than you should recover your file with raw recovery mode witch will recover all damage file also & all file will able to open but in this type of recovery your file name can be change .

There lots of free software available but they are only useful if you data is in MB if you want to recover your data then have to help of expert who can help you out to get back your data.
