I completed an application and they requested that I go into their website to activate the application and then post it to my web browser. What do they mean by "posting it into my web browser"?

This doesn't make much sense to me. Can you show us the full context? Maybe you're missing out something important.
BTW When you say you completed an application, I assume you mean an application form, and not that you finished developing a program? You must be clear - especially here where an application normally means a computer program. -
Quite possibly they mean something like "upload it on our website". Check, if there's the possibility to do that somewhere.
