Display full window under max resolution 1024X768

I have MFC application, if I execute app on laptop, it doesnot show full window, it shows 80% on full screen , remaining 20% go bottom, whereas on Desktop it shows complete, on laptop resolution is 1024X768, where as on desktop it is higher resolution, any idea how can I get full window on laptop?. appreciated.

If I execute my app on desktop, dialog box within full screen, where as on laptop, it shows only 80% shows on full screen on laptop, remaining 20% will go below lower level and I cannot reach that area, I can see laptop resolution is 1024 X 768, any idea?

I captured screenshots in this below doc. Picture 1 from laptop (partial-window), pic2 from desktop (full-window), pic3 is laptop max resolution (Cf-52-video-set).

as a general rule of thumb, if you want the window to be full-screen, the hotkey is F11. Otherwise, you can try manually resizing the window so that you can view it all.

          To manually resize (if able):
          1. scroll to the edge of the window until the cursor turns into double-arrows
          2. click and drag where you want the edge to be
          3. release mouse click
          4. click and drag the title-bar to position the window fully on the screen

An example for step #2 is dragging the left side of the window towards the right side of the screen.

Alternatively you could just try using a different resolution than you prefer. Find whatever works by fiddling on the screen in picture #3.
