    Text resizing

My client ran into a problem with her system. Someone changed a setting on the computer (she saw him hitting the ok button) and then suddenly text resizing in all applications started to act strangely. She did ask what setting was changed but she didn't get a response.

The way she describes the problem is that when she highlights text (say in Word) and then goes to change the text size, everything changes.

She said that it is not specific to Word. It doesn't matter what application she's using...it could be Power Point...even if she highlights text in a Web Browser and uses the wysiwyg editor to change font size, everything changes.

Does anyone have any idea of what could be going on here?

    Thanks,

I'm not quite sure I understand the problem fully. So if she tries to change the font size in word, power point, Web browser, ect it changes the font size for everything else on the computer (like icon fond, menu bar font, ect)? Who was the person who was using her computer and can they be trusted? I don't know of any setting in windows that will link the fonts together. Perhaps a virus scan/malware scan is in order. Perhaps a windows repair, or a registry scan may help fix this problem as well. I think this would be a hard one to try and pin down without actually being there and seeing what is happening.

      It was her young son.
      She had the computer repaired.
I don't know how it was fixed but it was.

      Thank you for your reply
