I cannot restore the Internet Explorer applet icon which displayes Internet exploer properties on Windows Vista Basic Edition desktop.
I tried re-creating the icon by making registry fix such as NewDesktopPanel key etc but still could not acheive the result.
The icon displays on a new user's desktop.
Why should we struggle so much to BRING BACK A WINDOW'S EXISTING FEATURE?
Please note: My Toshiba laptop does have emgergency restore cd but not Operating System Backup cd. I use Genuine Windows Vista Basic edition that came bundled along with my toshiba latptop.
I kindly welcome any solution/replies to this topic.
