    problem

    hi guys,
    my mother in-law has just signed up for sky-broadband. all conections are correct, but all she gets when she tries to log in is, cannot find the server.
    Could anyone please help with this problem,

    Could plz provide more details.......
    what kind of error message does she gets ?

      maybe you need to call their tech-support to have them activate the modem.

          thanks to you all for your quick replys.As I said, when she tries to go on line all she gets is a full page saying could not find server I managed to override this problem once through internet options (connections), but after a short while (10 mins) the same old message came back, could not find the server,
          this, I'm sorry to say, is all I can tell you as I have myself just started using a p.c. at the ripe old age of 58, hope these little bits of imformation might help
