windows picture viewer

HI to everyone
I got a small problem here
actually i am opening one image D:\x.jpg in one window using windows picture and fax viewer.
whenever i overwrite d:\x.jpg with c:\x.jpg it using copy and paste(with mouse right click) the window which is displaying d:\x.jpg is displaying latest (modified ) image .it's fine
But whenever i do the same above function using dos copy command the image is modifying.but the window which is displaying d:\x.jpg is not the latest(modified ) image.i

Where did this image come from? What is your over all goal here, do you want it deleted or just renamed?
