That's very rare. Try rebooting while your machine is hot. If it passes the BIOS memory test, that's not the problem.Originally posted by OgaW

And no its not a rare thing to have memory fail.
It is a common occurance depending on where and how much a pc or laptop is used. Also when your systm fans or cpu fans allow a system to over heat you will get the same types of problemsComment
