and for the x second...you can use a timer instead...i never use vb6 before so i dont really know how the timer will work in vb6...i think "googling" will solve it...

1. Add a timer to the form.
2. Set the interval in milliseconds in the Form_Load Sub, or with code.
3. Enable the timer when ready.
4. Use the Timer_Timer event to trigger a SendKeys function.
