prob with menu item

hi my requirement is that i have got two forms. In form1 i got a menu item which should be checked when clicked..and form2 should be loaded.when i close form2 the tick in menuitem of form1 should go off.
the prob is tat the tick in menuitem of form1 is not going off after i close form2. I tried with form2.visible and even isformloaded methods.please help me

   Form2.Show
End Sub

form2: (CLICK is the menu item name)

Private Sub Form_Unload(Cancel As Integer)
   Form1.CLICK.Checked = False
End Sub
