Problem with combobox(es)

I have a form with 18 comboboxes on it. Each one loads its items from the same datasource (companies table) - no problem. Each combobox binds to a company1 thru company18 column in the contacts table. But when you choose one of the companies from the items in the dropdown list it changes the text in all 18 of the comboboxes.

Neither of these two tables have a relationship because one isn't needed.

What in the world could cause all 18 comboboxes to change just by selecting an item from the combobox list? I've been back thru the properties for every combobox and even the database itself dozens of times and nothing appears setup incorrectly. But obviously I must be missing something here for sure.

Any and all help or suggestions will be very greatly appreciated.

You cannot use the same datasource for 2 or more comboboxes because something called the currencymanager of a datasource maintains the pointer to the last selected value so no matter what - if 2 or more comboboxes are using the same datasource on the same form it will not work. You have to create multiple datasources for each combobox.
