I have to write a program that allows me to send Midi-notes to two different locations. One is a sampler, the other a lightingdesk.
I've bought the Cakewalk UM2G as USB Midi Interface.
However I have no idea how to send a note.
I have two outputs so what I would like to do is create a function where I can send a note out. Something like:
However I have no idea how to get on with it. I've looked at some online samples but I'm afraid it's pretty much jibberish to me.
Anybody here that already used the Cakewalk UM2G and can provide me with a sample to send out a midinote?
I don't need to receive anything, only send.
I'm working in VB6.
