i have a grid and i want to hide 2 paricular cols

i have a grid say grid1 and grid2, from grid2 i m selecting values(grid2 contain 4 cols) from the database and filling it in col 3 of grid1 now if during filling of grid2 if i have particular value(col 4 value of grid2 = 2) say 2 then i need to hide col 3 of grid1...

Can't you just not populate the data to the grid if a value == something?
