making a xml valid

[newproject]

i was working on a project and wanted 2 add background color as i was inputing
the code everything stop got a error saying this not valid.

it looked something like this

"background"="l ightblue"/> i could not go on , if i backed the code out fine, but it not b the same as on instruct vid.
