    New Desktop Application.. Suspending tasks!!!

    Hi all,
    I m been doing a project which is lthat i have to create an explorer which have many advanced features as compared to vista explorer and xp explorer. Now while creating the security center i m facing a big problem.
    I can terminate, start, set priority of any running task but i cant suspen any task. Like if an autorun CD is inserted in CDROM then my program will suspend that program like in Vista.
    Any Example app, code????

      Most operating systems do make available a way to end sessions, might want to try that, Ali...

          Hey ali. What version of vb are you using?
          And for what operating ssystem are you writing for?
          Vb 08 has some features i think will make the project your working on much easier

              Thanx i ll check it in vb2008 too but right now i m creating this app in vb6, because i have much experience in vb6. And this app is for 98,xp and vista. but right now i want it for xp.
              That pausing any service and task at any instance.
              If you want any brief guidence about the working of this app i ll give u.
