Need help! I installed Visual Basic Express 2008 on a Windows Vista Premium machine with 2.4 GHZ and 2 gigabyte of RAM. I start VB Express and choose File|New|Window s Forms Application.
VB churns for a bit and then disappers from the screen. I have uninstalled, reinstalled and cannot find anything on the web that remotely resembles the same problem I'm having. I never had a beta installed on this machine and the task manager tells me VB is not running in the background after it 'disappears'.
I get the same result from VC++, VC# but not Visual Web Developer. Also, the other templates in VC++ and VC# work fine.
Any clue?
