Execution error when running on non-English XP

Hello, friends, I need a help.

I have a simple application written on VB6. It installs and runs ok on many machines. It uses MSCOMM1 and WINSOCK.

Now people tried to install it on the Windows XP in France. Of course Windows XP has French language as main and all interface is in French.
It installs ok but when they try to run it crashes with message:
Execution error 13 (may be runtime - they translated), Incompatible types.

I can't understand why, please could you post any thoughts and ideas about it, please.

    Alex

    Hello, Nadalik!

I took a good look and could not find anything.

Please stay tuned in case other experts have some idea.

    In a bit!
