    PDF and VB6

    Hello,

I want to open a PDF file from within VB6, find a string in the PDF, copy it
and write it to a text file. Is this possible? I know there is a third party
    DLL:
iSEDQuickPDF. http://www.isedquickpdf.com/ However, this website is not very
informative and the is no support whatever (not even
an email address). Is there an alternative?

    TIA Harry

    Re: PDF and VB6

    There's XPDF:

It's rather big - nearly 500 KB, but
it's open source, free to use and ship, and
it provides a command line interface
that will convert a given PDF to text file.
It's very easy to use, just:
    pdftotext sourcePath, DestTextFilePat h
