How can i compare the current date to a control field and perform a function?

I am a novice developer working in Vb.NET to develop a web application that can compare the current date to a date in another field, calculate the difference in days, and perform a function on that value. I could really use some guidance. Any suggestions?

I know nothing of VB.NET, but if I were you I'd add some more of the basic detail to the question if you hope to get any takers trying to help you.

You don't need a sql-server to do that, try posting this on the .Net forum...

      Good Luck!!!
