VB & Access with error message: REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG(0x80040154)

    Hello,

I'm in a real predicament. I built up a new 64bit PC due to a virus and a flaky hard drive. Installed all my programs (Excel, Word, VS2005, etc) all
the programs worked except for the VB programs I wrote myself (that were previously running for 1 1/2 years on the old machine). Found out that
Access does not have the support on a 64bit machine. So I formatted a different hard drive, installed XP Pro, then proceeded to install all the
programs on the old PC and plan to run it on that PC until I can get SQLSVR on my new PC and convert my developed VB programs converted from Access to
    SQL.

Running on either PC I get the message:

No error message available, result code: REGDB_E_CLASSNO TREG(0x80040154 ). on the "cn.OPEN" statement.

It doesn't tell me whats not registered. I scoured the net and found several references to the error message and tried applying their solutions but
    without any luck.

    I've re-installed Office 2003.
    Installed owc.
Applied latest service packs to both XP and VS2005.

I think it has something to do with MS Jet 4.0. Can't tell for sure though.

Reaching out to someone here for HELP!

    Bob

    XP Pro SP2
    VS2005 Pro
    MS Office 2003
    AMD 32 bit
