    Visual studio developer news

I have VS 2008... and the start page tab with the visual studio developer
    news gives me this....
"the current news channel might not be a valid RSS feed, or you internet
connection might be unavailable. To change the news channel, on the Tools
menu, Click Options, then expand Environment and click startup."

I've not changed the RSS feed and there is one there... and I have a
internet connection. what else might be the problem?

I dont think its anything youve done. I get that as well. Its either that
the service is busy at the time you start it, or perhaps its jsut a bug.

Or it could be that Microsoft no longer supplies the one your version
was initially configured with. That happened with my VS2008 Team
      Edition. I changed it to
      <http://www.microsoft.c om/feeds/msdn/en-us/vstudio/rss.xmland now it
      works.
