    Targeting for fw 2.0

    Hi

I have upgraded a vs2003 app into vs2008. How can I tell vs2008 to target
this app for framework 2.0 instead of 3.5? I can't seem to find this option
    anywhere.

    Thanks

    Regards

Project properties -Folder "Compile" -Button "advanced options" ->
    Combo "Target Framework"

Make sure once you change this setting, you need to close down the project
      and re-open it.

I seen a demo video on this ( i have not done it myself ).

See Armin's post - its exactly as he stated.

You may have to scroll down to see the 'advanced compile options' in the
          compile tab.

            Armin,

I have asked him not to multipost. I like this much more and see answers
from others newsgroups, then in every newsgroup I visit to see the same
            questions from John.

I agree with you that he is overdoing using approperiate newsgroups (like by
instance adonet and framework in this questions).

              a) If your project is C# one then go to Project/Properties/Application tab.
              b) If your project is a VB.NET one then go to Project/Properties/Compile tab
and click Advanced Compile Options... button.
And there it is: Target Framework.

Just was a question. On a machine which doesn't have VB 2008 but
has .NET 3.5 and VB 2005.
