Saving Customisations

Hi All,

I have written a small application and now want develop another form
which will enable the user to configure the app to suit their needs,
setting things such as;


default path for source file
default path of the output file
prefix for the output file (which will have date appended to it)
user name
etc,


my problem is that I unable to work out how to save this information
for subsequent executons for the exe. i was hoping not to use a txt
file to store this info as i wanted a self contain .exe file for
distrubution.


I am using Visual Studio 2005


Any assistence /direction would be appreciated.
