How do i access tables exported from access into SQL Server Express

I am an absolute novice when it comes to the world of SQL and SQL Server Express. I downloaded from Microsoft & ran executeables for SQLEXPRWT_x86_E NU, SQLEXPR32_x86_E NU & SQLManagementSt udio_x86_ENU. I open SQL server 2014 import and export data. I select the source type, Microsoft Access Database Engine & select my access database. For Destination I select SQL Server Native Client 11.0 and enter a new database name, next. I choose Copy data from 1 or more tables, select a table, all is good. SElect finish, all is green, The Execution was Successful shows. Here's the part I don't get. where do I go to see that table? In Windows Explorer, I see the destination database name with 2 extensions, .mdf & .ldf. I opened up SQL server 2014 Management Studio, tried open or connect to the DBs, but I don't see a way to access them. What am I missing here? Is there another SQL EXPRESS program that I need to download? This is for testing purposes just on my pc. We have access tables with large numbers of records and want to look at writing queries & development tools. Thank you.
