Is there a way to tell if a login was added then removed from a particular database in SQL Server 2008?

I can't help I'm afraid. My databases don't appear to have any auditing enabled. Try the following link though, within the Management Studio Help system (ms-help://MS.SQLCC.v10/MS.SQLSVR.v10.e n/s10de_4deptrbl/html/e8feaca0-7852-422b-895a-319b965d8d9b.ht m). It should start you off at least.
