What other database can i use besides Microsoft SQL Server?

One of my clients has requested that we start cutting costs on our software that we have to license and find other cheaper alternatives.

What database would you recommend that would allow us to port away from SQL Server with ease?

2) Postgre SQL
3) My Sql
