String(Varchar) ID generation in Sql Server 2005 & NET

for example ABC01,ABC02...

and

another example IN01,DN02,AM03, PK04,CN05,

Ok, Generating these isn't difficult. But what are the rules for the sequences you want to generate. Can you post the rules that dictate the structure of the ID you want to generate
