I am asked to develop a program that would automatically detect when a USB flash disk is inserted and check for existence of a single file.
I am visual basic 6 and .NET developer and thot of doing the program in those languages. But they would need things like .NET framework etc which is not going to be a requirement in all the computers of the company. I cant really decide on what to do and need help on how to do it.
All computers are XP and 7.
