I am a novice user of IBM DB2 UDB for z/OS. I have looked at the documentation but can not get a clear picture of the difference between DROP and FREE SQL statements in DB2. I am using DB2 UDB for z/OS V7. In particular, I am trying to remove obsolete DB2 packages.
