excel formula parseing ??

Hi,

I have a problem in that I need to be able to parse excel formula's
and evaluate them to get results. Python is very well suited for this
as it has WONDERFUL data handling capabilities.

My question is : Is there an excel formula parser out there?
and

if not - does anyone have an idea on where to start ?
