Introducing OkkProxy: Proxy Infrastructure for Web Data and Automation

    Hi everyone,

We’re introducing OkkProxy, a proxy platform built for developers, agencies, and businesses that need reliable IP routing for web data collection, automation, SEO monitoring, market research, and related workflows.

OkkProxy provides several proxy options depending on the project:
    • Rotating residential proxies
    • Static ISP proxies
    • Mobile proxies
    • Datacenter proxies
    • HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 support
    • Country and city-level targeting
    • API access for automated workflows
    • Flexible IP rotation options

One of the things we focused on is making proxy configuration straightforward . Users can choose the location and proxy type they need, then integrate the connection into their existing scraping or automation workflow without building their own proxy infrastructure.

    Typical applications include:
    • Web scraping and data collection
    • Search engine and SEO monitoring
    • Ad and content verification
    • Market research
    • Price and product monitoring
    • Website testing
    • Automation workflows

We’re launching OkkProxy with the goal of providing a practical proxy infrastructure option for developers and teams working with distributed web data.

We’d be interested in feedback from developers here: what proxy-related problems are you currently dealing with when building scraping or automation projects?

    Thanks for taking a look.

      fraudulent calculation of bandwidth usage
I am reporting OkkProxy for deliberately double-counting bandwidth.
In their official Telegram support chat, their staff openly admitted that they calculate traffic as upstream + downstream and then multiply it by 2. This means users are charged for twice the data they actually use.

They tried to justify it with “binary vs decimal” calculation, but their own numbers clearly show the x2 multiplier (for example, around 375 MB becomes 750 MB, and 533 MB becomes over 1000 MB).

This is a misleading and unfair billing practice. Most legitimate proxy providers do not double the traffic like this. OkkProxy’s method effectively reduces the real value of the package by half.

I have clear screenshots of their staff admitting this practice. Anyone considering buying from them should be aware of this issue.
