Which Opensource Site Content tool to use

I am a PHP newbie who has to get something online quickly.

I need to put a Community online with preferably all of the following:
Groups/Forums - Different Community interest groups
    - Group Administrators
    - Group Homepage
    Articles
    Comments for Articles
    Documents for articles
    Forums
Document Metadata - Preferably can redevelop for my own preferred standard
WIKI or other simple method for publishing articles

I have had a look at Midgardlite and Envolution but I cant get them
    installed properly.

I have aLinux e-smith 5.6 server www.e-smith.org at home with PHP, MYSQL &
Apache to test this on. I have finally worked out how to use tar and gzip to
extract files from archives in Linux so am learning something. Would prefer
to deploy on Linux if that matters.

What applications would people recommend for this.

    Confused Newbie
    Gavin

Evolution is a good another good one is Xoop but if you want to get up and
going real quick take a look at PostNuke. www.postnuke.com IMHO it is
very easy to setup and run. Alot of good features can be implemented into
    it.
