Create a new movie database or import from other site ?

I am planning to create a page ( there are other pages on my site for different purpose ) which displays now running movies and upcoming movies .

So is it worth importing database form other movie site to mine or to create my own database .

If i do create my own , how do i input latest movies automatically or should i manually search and input to my database ?

You can import one from another site. You might be able to find a free one but you'll probably have to pay for one. If you can't find a free one and you don't have the resources to pay for one, then you'll have to create your own.

As for updating the database with new movies, there are plenty of new release RSS feeds out there that you can tap into. Shouldn't be too much trouble to find one and write a script to parse the feed and insert the data.
