Zuerst mal, dass dies eine englischsprachi ge newsgroup ist.
Question was about arguments for switching a webspace package to PHP:
The answer requires some extra info: What is the website currently
running on? What does the site owner want to achieve with it?
(For example: If all you want to do is display one static page and
otherwise park some files on the server, there's no reason to install PHP.)
