What's wrong with asking here (or some other newsgroup)?
Wouldn't it be better if your qualified developers learned how to use
usenet?

Jst, et all,
Although I am cheerful yet another helpful person has created a forum for
us, I still don't get why everyone starts his/her own. Is it an ego thing ?
Commercial benefits ? I'd hoped you and your expert lot would come here
instead. I get the idea a ton of worthwhile knowledge is being shattered in
a zillion fragments like this.
I do understand the rationale behind a tutorial and snippet-site, but
another discussion place is beyong my understanding.
I will check it out of course, but please consider moving the activities
here if you really want to have most bang for the buck.
Thanks!

Why? Advertising revenue and consulting referrals.
One visit to their page, with its unreadable black text on dark blue
background theme, was enough to convince me that they shouldn't be trusted
for advice on web and PHP questions.
Honestly, people. Hire an artist for half a day. It's your living.
Quoting from the site: "The time now is Thu 18 Nov, 2004 07:19". Actually,
the time is now 11:19 PM and the date is now Wed 17 Nov 2004. Again, this
is not what I want to see from someone offering website creation advice.
Getting the local time is not rocket science, and formatting it correctly
is something even a beginner should be able to do.

All seven of them ? Or do they include _all_ the guests as well :D ???
Why do you put so much work in a fancy-schmancy front-end to absolutely
nothing ? Like there aren't a quadrillion forums covering all the topics you
have ? You really think you are god's gift to us ?
