    Common mistake is to forget to restart Apache.

    dll...so I assume this is a Windows server. The Apache Monitor should be included, it's easy to left click the icon on the task bar and choose 'restart'.

    Create a test.php file and put this in it:
    Code:
    <?php phpinfo() ?>
    You should see a section (table) about MySQL or MySQLi, whichever you enabled.

    If you don't, then the php<->mysql configuration is not correct. Make sure the DLL is in the correct directory, or put a copy of it in a path that's already in windows path, such as c:/windows/system32.

    Don't forget to restart Apache.

    Try again, if it works, then you need to make sure php extension directory can be found by PHP. (includes, PATH variable, etc...see Google)

    Cheers,

    Dan
