    shopping cart project cost

    Hi

    Could anyone tell me how much should I charge for integrating shopping cart
    ( PHP based ) project in a website which already has a static design with domain name ?
    So no designing needed.

    I am most prolly going to download a software and install it on some server. Pref I will get a package deal from some website of software + hosting. eg: go daddy, big commerce etc...

    So much should I charge my client for implementation, installation, consultancy etc ....

    I was thinking like $650 for the whole project excluding the Software + hosting cost.Makes sense ? Cause if I hire a developer I will have to shell out some money.

    Is it too low too high ??

    Pls let me know ASAP . I would appreciate it

      Hey.

      I would advice you to not charge a static fee for the "entire project". Things rarely go as scheduled, and you may find yourself doing a LOT more work than you originally though you would be doing. (This has happened to me more than once.)

      In any case, you should most definitely decide on what exactly you are going to be doing first, and then decide on a payment based on that. And make sure your client knows the scope of what he is paying you for, in case he decides to alter it later on.

      Try reading through these. There are a lot of good points here that may help you make your decision.
