    Update Item price based on prices of gold and silver.

    Hi ,

    I have a requirement in which the client's portfolio's net worth should change dynamically based on current price of Gold and silver.

    Please advise how can I get this done.

      You are going to need a live feed for gold and silver prices.
      This is certainly available at various prices.

      Dare I suggest Google -- live feed gold price --

          Thanks so much for the reply. I am new in handling rss. Can i have some basic information of accessing rss feeds from some reliable sites ? I tried getting the live feed for gold, but I coouldn't get.

              FOr example, I access timegenie.com to get daily forex change rates.
              This is available as a downloaded CSV or XML file.

              It is free and they ask that we only download the file to our own site then use the data, rather than provide a live feed linked to their server, which would be wrong.

              Other sites provide live-time rates but charge for the service.

              This is all I know. I am just assuming there are similar services available for Gold/Silver.
