redirect to previous window

Hi everyone,
I am using a tooltip in my project. I mean when anybody is not logged in then if he/she want to access any thing then onclick of that link one tooltip open.
and after login i want to redirect to that requested window and close tooltip.
But when i am doing this thing its not working it showing blank page after login form tooltip.
i am using some javascript code to redirect to the requested window.

pls help me anyone its ASAP.
